Company Background
Introduction:
The mantra "by young people, for young people" is at the heart of the Culture Group's history.
Developed alongside a scheme by the Millennium Commission, and under an association with The Prince's Trust, the original Culture Magazine was born. Originally a regional magazine for young people, the project snowballed, forming partnerships with GWR Radio Group and the BBC. At its peak, the 'local' magazine achieved over 100,000 readers across Wales and the West Country.
Not only was Culture Magazine's readership up and profile raised, there was soon demand to provide third party media with exclusive content and coverage. And from this Culture Group was formed, becoming an independent content provider and "youth communications" company in its own right.
Today, Culture Group is recognised as one of the most exciting and dynamic young companies in the UK and actively seeks new strategic partnerships with brands at the forefront of youth culture.
